An invitation to rise
Question: Coming up to the convention, a heaviness is felt in the ten. How do I believe that the ego shows me that the friends are not aimed at the goal? How can we break these walls between us?
Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman: This is the preparation that the Creator gives—the burden between us—so that we prepare ourselves and rise above this burden to a higher level, to connection. Otherwise, how is it possible? In such states, we should see an invitation to ascend. “Who shall ascend into the mountain of the Lord, or who shall stand in His holy place? It is he who has clean hands, and a pure heart” (Psalms 24:3-6). Those who have “clean hands” are those who annul their egoism, and those with a “pure heart” are those who have an intention to connect.
