From material actions to unite to spiritual rapprochement

Question: The text says “they make the Torah.” What does this mean?

Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman: Thanks to all the unification actions that we do between us, it seems to us that we are doing material actions, approaching, drawing closer to each other, coming to some practical actions: unification, meals, different things,or going to the Arava desert.

Thus, thanks to all these different actions, when we want to unite with each other, we draw closer inwardly, until we come to a state where, thanks to the upper light that acts on us, the connection between us becomes a bond, at least for the first degree. And then we come to the first perfection, when Malchut from all its parts is unified into a single structure, “as one man with one heart.”

We thus go and cling to each other, to all the friends, until we more or less begin to feel that our connection already exists and works between us to such an extent that the upper light, the Creator, becomes revealed in it. So we draw closer to each other, and the Creator becomes increasingly revealed, until we come to be “as one man with one heart,” and the upper light becomes revealed in all its force in us. This is called a Zivug of Shechina (Divinity), meaning that we are all together: the created being with the upper light, with the Creator.
